Carpet Cleaning tips to remove pen ink

Finding pen ink on your carpet might be very worrying. However, with a few simple steps you can fix the problem.

First of all, using a white cloth blot up the spill then soak a salloart of the cloth in warm water and work the stain inward from the edge with blotting motion. Try not to over wet and not to rub as you may cause further damages and you might spread stain.

Once the ink has been removed, use a clean cloth to absorb excess water. Then soak one part of a clean cloth in a solution made of one teaspoon of wool detergent, one teaspoon of white vinegar and one litre of warm water and work the stain inward as previously using blotting motion.
Once the solution has removed the stain, absorb the excess moisture from the treated area than apply pressure with a clean white cloth. Then, using a non coloured sponge rinse the area with warm water and again remove excess moisture.
