Remove red wine stains from carpet with baking soda

Red wine stain on carpet can be very difficult to remove. However, with baking soda and following a few easy steps you can successfully remove red wine stains from your precious carpet. (Always try to clean a stain as soon as a spill happens as you have a better chance to completely remove a stain).

Using a clean white cloth blot up excess red wine from the area. Ensure you alternate different parts of the cloth so you always use a clean spot.
Add a little water on the red wine stain and keep blotting so you can remove some more wine. Continue pouring little bit of water and blotting until no more wine can be removed.

Prepare a paste using 3 parts of baking soda and 1 part of water then put the paste on the stain and let it dry before vacuuming up the paste.
